Dear Parent,

"The Miracle League of Lake Placid" is a charitable organization that provides children with mental and/or physical challenges an opportunity to play baseball. There is something about playing the game of baseball that lights up youngsters’ eyes, but for children facing challenges, that opportunity can often be a difficult first step. The Miracle League of Lake Placid gives these children the opportunity to get out in the sunshine, and enjoy playing the game of baseball in its purest form.

During each Miracle League game, every child is given an opportunity to hit the ball and score a run. Miracle League of Lake Placid team members are assigned buddies who assist them in hitting the ball and "running" the bases.

The Miracle League of Lake Placid wants to give your child the chance to play baseball! We are now planning our fall season. Opening day will be in October. Please fill out the application attached and mail back to us as soon as possible. The "Field of Dreams" is located in the Lake June Park/Sports Complex on Jackson Road in Lake Placid.

We look forward to watching your child participate in The Miracle League of Lake Placid. Should you have any questions, please feel free to call me at any time. You can reach me at
