Currently the town has eight parks. The largest park is the Lake June Park/Sports Complex. Visitor to these parks will find baseball/softball fields and soccer/football fields. There are also picnic pavilions for small or large gatherings. The beach area has four covered pavilions in a sandy area and a boat ramp. The beach also has a nice grass area that is perfect for a blanket picnic. There are two "serene" parks, Stuart Park and John's Park. Each are located in the downtown area and each offer something a little different. Stuart Park is very popular for small community events and parties. Located within the park is a bar-b-cue pit and shuffleboard courts. The park also offers lots of shade and a walking path with benches. John's Park is a "relaxing" park. It offers a shaded walking path and benches. Its quietness provides the perfect place to relax and read a book. There are three neighborhood parks within the town. Bicentennial Park, Spruce Park, and the newest addition Taylor Park. Each park offers a variety of playground equipment providing hours of fun for kids. The middle of town provides Devane Park. Better known as the "circle." This park is used for many different large events. Each year the Arts and Crafts show is held in the park and in conjunction with the Caladium Festival the antique car show is also held in the park. The park is also available for weddings and parties.
